
Pasco County deputies released a video showing a man stealing a baby alligator from a business in Port Richey.
PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a man who was caught on camera stealing a baby alligator.
Deputies posted a video showing the suspect going up to where the gators were located around 3:50 a.m. Monday at a business off US 19 in Port Richey. He used a device to catch the animal, wrapped it in a white cloth and left on a blue bicycle, according to a Facebook post from the agency.
The suspect is described as a white man, roughly 20 to 30 years old, with a beard and mustache. He was last seen in the video wearing a black hat, a blue and white plaid long-sleeved shirt, a black undershirt, black shorts and black shoes.
