Videos show Texas rapper get hit by bull at rodeo event in Fort Worth

The Texas rapper has collaborated with the likes of Lil Wayne, and Saturday was a “guest coach” at the Ultimate Bullfighters Midnight Bullfight in Fort Worth.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Among the cowboys taking on charging bulls at a rodeo event in Fort Worth over the weekend was Texas rapper That Mexican OT.

That Mexican OT, real name Virgil René Gazca, of Bay City, has collaborated with the likes of Lil Wayne, and Saturday served as a “guest coach” at Ultimate Bullfighters Midnight Bullfight Saturday at Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The late-night event features “bullfighters in a competition format of fast-paced and thrilling ‘bull games!'” according to a social media post.

At one point during the bullfight, That Mexican OT was hit by a charging bull multiple times.

A video shared by Professional Bull Fighters (PBR) posted on Instagram shows the charging bull appear to hit the rapper in the torso area, before hitting him again, and knocking him to his hands and knees before he gets back up again. At one point, the video shows another person trying to get the bull’s attention, but the bull charged after That Mexican OT again and knocked him to the ground, flipping him before he landed on his rear.

“That Mexican OT IS Buckin Insane,” PBR captioned the video.

Another highlight video PBR shared on social media shows the rapper lying down in the coliseum as a charging bull and bullfighter leap over him.

Ultimate Bullfighters shared a post Sunday that the rapper “may just make the UBF athlete roster.”

His appearance at Cowtown Coliseum comes the same week he released a song with Lil Wayne “Baby Mad At Me.”

That Mexican OT first came onto the national scene with his 2023 song “Johnny Dang” with Paul Wall and  DRODi, which charted on the Billboard Hot 100
