HUNT, Texas — The Hunt Volunteer Fire Department says they need volunteers to help with clearing debris from the flood.

Volunteers are needed Thursday and Saturday as well. The Hunt VFD says to just show up as early as 7 a.m. on Saturday and try to carpool with other volunteers. The fewer amount of vehicles on hand, the better off they will be. They are located at 151 Fm 1340 in Hunt.

“The Hunt community is struggling, and the call has gone out — Hunt Needs Our Help,” the Boerne Star reported.

They are asking folks to stay away on Friday due to President Trump visiting the impacted areas on that day. They are hoping to reduce traffic in the area.

  • Return early Saturday, as early as 7 a.m.
