In the new commercials, we find out just how far Wemby will go to stand out more than he already does. 😂

SAN ANTONIO — A pair of new H-E-B-San Antonio Spurs commercials are here, and if you’ve ever wanted to find out how many quarts of ice cream it takes to measure rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama’s height, you’re in luck.

The two new ads feature Wembanyama, Jeremy Sochan, the Coyote, Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell having fun with H-E-B’s Creamy Creations ice cream.

“We’re always looking for ways to entertain our fans, and for this year’s commercials, we’re excited to welcome some new faces to the lineup,” said Ashwin Nathan, H-E-B’s vice president of marketing, in a release. “For nearly 20 years, we’ve enjoyed teaming up with the Spurs organization for these spots, which have become favorites for our loyal customers and committed Spurs fans.”

The fun does not end with these commercials.

H-E-B also announced that in the coming weeks it will launch new activations related to the commercials, including an in-arena Creamy Creations wig fan-cam experience during Spurs home games; Creamy Creations hair filter on social media; life-size cutout posters featuring Wembanyama and stacked tubs of Creamy Creations at all San Antonio and Austin stores; and a collaboration with San Antonio-based designer Kiké Sanchez to create a one-of-a-kind gym bag exclusively for Sochan featuring themes from the Spurs and Creamy Creations.

The commercials will be televised throughout the season in the San Antonio and Austin areas, as well as select cities in the Gulf Coast and border regions. The marketing campaign will also include billboards featuring Wembanyama, launching early next year in the San Antonio and Austin markets, per H-E-B.
