BRENHAM, Texas — Multiple people suffered what are described as “serious injuries” when a commercial vehicle crashed into a DPS Office in Brenham Friday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office believes this may have been intentional.
Texas DPS first posted about the incident on X at 11:17 a.m. Photos from the scene show a big hole in the building.
At this time, it’s unclear how many people were hurt or the extent of their injuries. We also don’t know what led up to the crash.
“We believe this was a criminal act,” Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak said.
DPS is asking people to avoid the area while investigators and medical crews work the scene.
