The convenience store is located off South Presa Street not far from South St. Mary’s Street. The busted window was right in front of the area near where Campos does all the cooking.

“We are a small business and we lost work,” he said. “I don’t work. i don’t get paid.”

He said two thieves had their faces covered up and went through his area, then made their way to the store.

“They come in and they just start ransacking the lottery tickets,” Campos said. “They just come in and start grabbing and taking.”

Campos said lost a whole day of work, at a time, he said when times are tough. He just hopes it doesn’t happen again.

“I don’t wish it upon any business,” he said.
