BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — IMPACT DAYS: Monday, December 29

Reason: Gusty winds, cold temperatures

A strong cold front arrived Sunday night, bringing scattered overnight rain and isolated storms to south-central Texas. 

The breakdown

As a cold front pushes farther south, colder air will drive into the area Monday morning. Temperatures will stay in the 40s all day. Add in gusty winds, wind chills will hover in the lower-40s through the evening. Bundle up! Winds will occasionally gust near 40 MPH.

A wind advisory stays in effect until noon on Monday with occasional gusts over 35 MPH. 

There may be some light rain or possibly, some sleet or isolated frozen precipitation in some areas between the Hill Country and West Texas.
