Weird or deserved? Video shows Mavs fan confronting Nico Harrison at Twin Peaks restaurant

Viral video shows fan approach the Dallas Mavericks’ GM at Twin Peaks in Addison over Luka Doncic trade: “We still f—— hate you.”

DALLAS — If you were wondering whether or not Mavericks fans have forgiven Mavericks General Manager Nico Harrison for the Luka Doncic trade yet, it seems not.

In a viral video posted Sunday by Jake Kemp, former Ticket host and current co-host of The Dumb Zone podcast, a man spots Harrison eating dinner through an open window at the Addison location of Twin Peaks. Upon noticing Harrison, the man stops in his tracks and approaches the Mavs GM.

“Nico? Nico. What’s up man,” the unidentified fan said, holding out his hand to greet Harrison. “Good to meet you. We all still f——- hate you.”

“I still hate you too,” Harrison replied.

“Alright, good. Good talk, brother,” the fan said as he walked away.

As of 3 p.m. Sunday, Kemp’s video had over 600,000 of views. According to Kemp’s tweet, the interaction happened at the Twin Peaks location in Addison, which is located at 5260 Belt Line Road.

Kemp told WFAA the video was sent to him in their Dumb Zone group chat by a listener who filmed the interaction and gave him consent to post the video. The video has sparked an online debate about whether the interaction was appropriate.
