Wembanyama, Castle among top West All-Star Voting first fan results; Broadcast change for Spurs-Knicks New Year’s Eve game

San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama ranks fifth in early 2026 NBA All-Star fan voting.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle are among the top NBA All-Star West vote getters in the first fan returns of NBA All-Star Voting 2026.

Wemby is at No. 5 with 769,362 fan votes, with Castle at No. 18 with 93,133. Los Angeles Lakers’ Luka Dončić and Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.

Spurs fans can vote for all the Silver and Black players via the NBA App and NBA.com with their NBA ID, representing 50% of the vote to determine the five players from each conference honored as starters for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.

Tuesday, Dec. 30, marks the next “3-for-1 Day,” when each fan vote will count three times. The next fan voting update will be shared on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

BROADCAST CHANGE FOR SPURS-KNICKS

The NBA announced that NBA TV will now televise the upcoming Spurs-Knicks game in San Antonio on New Year’s Eve.

This game will have some intrigue, considering the two teams met in the 2025 NBA Cup Finals, where the Knicks won 124-113, earning their first Cup title.

Although the game did not count against the Spurs in the standings nor in the stat sheet, San Antonio will be looking for a measure of revenge against New York.
