
The NBA’s 2026 All-Star Game will see San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama on Team World against the USA Stars and Stripes in a new mini-tournament format.
SAN ANTONIO — The NBA announced San Antonio Spurs‘ Victor Wembanyama will be on the Team World roster for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles.
Team World comprises international players, while the two U.S. teams are USA Stars and USA Stripes. According to the NBA, the U.S. All-Stars were assigned to teams based on age, with the younger group placed on USA Stars and the older group placed on USA Stripes.
Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson will lead the USA Stars, and Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković of Serbia will lead Team World.
The 75th NBA All-Star Game will feature a round-robin mini-tournament with four 12-minute games. The matchups are as follows:
- Game 1: USA Stars vs. World
- Game 2: USA Stripes vs. winning team of Game 1
- Game 3: USA Stripes vs. losing team of Game 1
- Game 4: Championship (top two teams from round-robin play)
If all three teams finish 1-1 after the round-robin games, the first tiebreaker will be point differential across each team’s two games.
In addition, the NBA revealed the new All-Star jerseys and court.
Spurs fans will have fun watching Coach Johnson plan how to stop Wemby on Team World, Carter Bryant participate in the Slam Dunk Contest, and Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle play in the Rising Stars Challenge.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. ET at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.
AUSTIN SPURS’ UMUDE JOINS THE 2026 NATIONAL GIRLS & WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
The Spurs recently hosted their National Girls & Women in Sports Day Leadership Summit at Frost Bank.
Nearly 700 female high school athletes from across Bexar County joined, and San Antonio’s own Stanley Umude (Warren High School) took part in a Q&A session and team photos.
The summit’s aim is to help female athletes explore leadership, access, and career paths in sports through panels and breakout sessions.
