Devin Vassell brightened the holidays with a visit to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO — Following the San Antonio Spurs‘ loss to the Knicks in the 2025 NBA Cup Finals, Victor Wembayama stepped to the postgame table and revealed he suffered a loss in his family – his grandmother.
Soon after, Wemby shared a photo of himself and his grandmother from his childhood in her memory.
The Spurs’ big man learned of his grandmother’s passing before the game, but managed to record 18 points off the bench.
VASSELL BRINGS HOLIDAY CHEER TO THE COMMUNITY
Spurs forward Devin Vassell hosted a special holiday event for youth at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Antonio.
Everyone enjoyed holiday-themed activities, music, food and gifts, supported by H-E-B and other community partners.
Kids even took home some toys, sporting goods, food, and bikes, just in time for the holidays. Vassell also presented a $5,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club, and every child received a “DV24” tee-shirt.
