SAN ANTONIO — It may be the offseason, but several San Antonio Spurs players are already getting a head start on next season.
Guard Blake Wesley recently discussed the team’s offseason progress, noting that some players are already hitting the court and preparing for the upcoming season.
He stated that players are healthy, they are putting in hours in the gym, and looking sharp.
“We’re getting better. We’re in here for two and a half hours every day,” he said.
The Spurs are in for an exciting offseason.
The team owns the No. 2 and 14 picks in the 2025 NBA Draft, De’Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama are recovering from injuries, and there will be higher expectations for this young team in the 2025-26 season.

UPDATED ODDS ON ANTETOKOUNMPO IN SAN ANTONIO
Bookies.com has released updated odds on which team could land Giannis Antetokounmpo if the Bucks decide to rebuild.
San Antonio is a +675 (third) on landing Giannis in a deal behind Houston (second) and him staying in Milwaukee (first).
The Spurs can package some of their multitude of draft assets and current players if Antetokounmpo is available for a deal, but expect it to be a steep price to acquire the All-Star forward.
