SAN ANTONIO — A wheelchair-bound woman was stabbed early Sunday morning at a downtown bus stop, police say.
It happened just before 3 a.m. at West Martin Street and North Santa Rosa Street.
Police say the 40-year-old woman flagged down officers to tell them she had just been stabbed by an unknown suspect at the bus stop at the intersection.
She told officers that she was stabbed from behind. Officers searched the area for the suspect but didn’t find anyone. No description was provided for the suspect.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor non-life threatening injuries. Police are investigating what may have led up to the stabbing.
