When is H-E-B open this weekend? Grocery chain adjusts hours for San Antonio-area stores amid winter storm

Here’s when the major Texas grocery store chain is operating this weekend in the San Antonio and Hill Country.

SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B, the San Antonio-headquartered grocery chain with more than 40 locations around the Alamo City, is adjusting its hours for certain locations in the region as freezing temperatures and potentially icy conditions take hold this weekend

Bexar and surrounding counties are currently under a Winter Storm Warning until noon Sunday. Some regions north of Bexar County are also under an Ice Storm Warning until that same time; the National Weather Service says isolated parts of the Hill Country could see up to a half-inch of ice on the roads, making travel dangerous.

Here is the latest regarding H-E-B hours and which stores around the area are impacted.

San Antonio area

All H-E-B locations in San Antonio will close at 9 p.m. Saturday and be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. Stores in Cibolo, Floresville, Schertz, Pleasanton, Fair Oaks, Leon Springs and Lytle will also operate by those hours.

The Broadway Central Market location will also close at 9 pm. Saturday and reopen at 8 a.m. Sunday.

Hill Country

Kerrville 1, Kerrville 2, Fredericksburg, Boerne, Bulverde, New Braunfels 1, New Braunfels 2, New Braunfels 3, Seguin and La Vernia stores will close at 9 p.m. Saturday. Those same locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday.
