Where’s the Cowboys game on tonight? Here’s how to watch

The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions aren’t on a traditional TV channel Thursday night.

DALLAS — “Any given Sunday” now means “Any given Thursday” or “Any given Monday,” especially for the Dallas Cowboys.

“America’s Team” often finds itself in the national spotlight — often in primetime — which means a whole lot of Monday and Thursday games. And it’s Thursday again this week, as the Cowboys travel to Detroit to face the Lions in a game with huge implications for the NFC playoff standings.

While this won’t be the Cowboys’ first Thursday game of the season, it will be the first Amazon Prime game. Dallas played the Eagles on NBC in the season opener, and their annual Thanksgiving game (against the Chiefs this year) aired on CBS, the latter of which turned out to be the most-viewed NFL regular season game of all-time.

If you’ve got an Amazon Prime subscription, you’ll be able to watch the game for free (well, aside from the Prime subscription you’re already paying) on the Prime Video streaming app, either on your TV or mobile device.

Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. Central Time.

The Cowboys are three-point underdogs on the road, though the Lions have struggled of late and are also banged up with a slew of key injuries. The Cowboys aren’t fully healthy, either. Cornerback Trevon Diggs remains sidelined with a knee injury, even though there was some thought he might have a chance to play Thursday night. Offensive tackle Tyler Guyton is also out Thursday with an ankle injury.

Safety Malik Hooker (back) and defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (hamstring) are both questionable Thursday night.
