Who are the Mustangs playing this year? Here’s SMU Football’s full 2025-2026 schedule

The schedule features a rematch of the 2024 ACC title game between SMU and Clemson.

DALLAS — Are you sad that the college football season is over? That’s okay, we’re already getting ready for next season, along with the SMU Mustangs, who released their full 2025-2026 schedule on Monday. 

While times and networks are still to be determined, the Mustangs know who they will be playing and what days they’ll be playing on. 

Throughout the first four weeks of competition, SMU will play four out-of-conference opponents: East Texas A&M, Baylor, Missouri State and TCU. Following these four weeks, the Mustangs will get a week off and then open up Atlantic Coast Conference play by hosting Syracuse. 

A rematch of the 2024-2025 ACC Championship game between Clemson and SMU is set to be played on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Death Valley. Another notable matchup on the schedule is when the Miami Hurricanes come to Dallas on Saturday, Nov. 1.
