SAN ANTONIO — The search for the south side’s best tacos is on, and San Antonians can now cast their vote!
Live From The Southside recently launched the “Southside Taco Trail,” a new campaign to celebrate the best tacos served on the south side of the Alamo City.
Community members can vote for their favorite taco destinations in categories including “Best Bean and Cheese,” “Best Breakfast Taco,” “Best Barbacoa,” “Best Street Tacos,” and “Hidden Gems.” The public can vote here for taquerias, restaurants, food trucks, pop-ups, and local vendors across District 3 and parts of Districts 4 and 5.
Organizers said the “Southside Taco Trail,” was made with the intention to bring visibility to local, family-owned businesses that are central to the south-side’s food scene and culture.
After the voting period, which runs through June 1, the top-selected locations will be named official stops on the “Southside Taco Tour,” which will create a specialized experience for locals and visitors. The top three winners in each category will receive an official award and be featured across Live From The Southside platforms.
