SAN ANTONIO — A woman was arrested for assault of a police officer after allegedly striking him when he tried to break up a fight at an IHOP restaurant on the west side of town.
It happened around 3:23 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of SW Loop 410 near 151.
Officers arrived at the IHOP and found three women fighting. One of the officers stepped in to try and break up the fight by separating the women and was struck in the face with a closed fist multiple times by the 27-year-old suspect.
