Woman assaulted in aggravated robbery, police say

Police say one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded the her belongings.

SAN ANTONIO — A woman was assaulted during an aggravated robbery northwest of downtown on Monday.

SAPD was dispatched to the 3400 block of Fredericksburg Road around 2:45 p.m. for reports of an robbery in progress.

When police arrived they learned that a group of about five individuals were hanging out when an argument began.

One of the suspects struck the35-year-old  victim, then pointed a handgun at the her and demanded her belongings. 

Officials say the victim is expected to be okay. 

No arrest has been made.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
