SAN ANTONIO — A woman is facing an animal cruelty charge after she was allegedly caught on camera hitting her puppy, according to a release.
23-year-old Havanna Miller was arrested Saturday after a video surfaced of her repeatedly hitting a 3-month-old poodle on an apartment balcony in the 12000 block of Culebra. The video was recorded by another resident in the same complex.
An investigation was initiated by San Antonio Animal Care Services and SAPD when the incident was reported on Friday.
Miller was arrested late Saturday afternoon and faces one count of animal cruelty-torture, a third-degree felony punishable between two to 10 years in prison.
