SAN ANTONIO — A woman was critically injured after police say she crashed into a concrete barrier on the east side of San Antonio Saturday.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Interstate-10 at South New Braunfels Avenue.
Witnesses told police the 32-year-old woman was driving her 2009 Chevrolet Impala when it appears she lost control and struck a concrete barrier, then another vehicle.
The crash caused damage to both vehicles, leaving them in the way of traffic.
The occupants of the 2025 Toyota Corolla were evaluated by EMS at the scene and cleared with just minor injuries.
The woman driving the Impala was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
