Woman cut by her boyfriend during argument on northwest side, police say

The woman was taken to University Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

SAN ANTONIO — A woman was cut by her boyfriend after getting into an argument while drinking at their apartment, police say.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Monday at an apartment in the 7800 block of Callaghan Road at Torino Drive on the northwest side of town.

Police say the couple, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s, were drinking at their apartment when they got into an argument and he cut her.

She was taken to University Hospital for her injuries.

The man was taken into custody and is being charged with assault family violence.

Police are investigating.
