SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department says a major crash at a northeast-side intersection has left a 50-year-old woman dead.
Around 1:35 p.m., Friday, officials responded to the intersection of 410 and Harry Wurzbach after receiving reports of a major accident.
The preliminary investigation shows a black truck was making a left turn when it was struck on its passenger side by a white truck traveling southbound through the intersection.
Upon arrival, police say a passenger in the black truck was found dead on the scene.
SAPD said the crash had “a lot of force” causing both vehicles off the roadway.
The driver of the black truck was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
As of Saturday morning, the driver of the white truck has not been charged, however police say there could be facing possible charges.
