SAPD says she was walking on Wetmore Road when she was struck by the driver, who stayed at the scene.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman was killed when she was hit by a driver on the northeast side of town early Sunday morning, police say.
It happened around 1:15 a.m. in the 11,000 block of Wetmore Road.
A sergeant on the scene said the woman was walking on Wetmore Rd when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and called for help.
EMS arrived and pronounced the woman deceased. It’s unclear why the woman was in the roadway.
Her identity has not been released.
