Woman found shot in Kerrville, police say

She was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.

KERRVILLE, Texas — A woman was found with a gunshot wound in Kerrville early Tuesday morning.

Kerrville Police say they found the victim just before 2 a.m. on the 100 block of Corbin Circle near Harper Road and I-10.

Officers initially responded for a report of an injured person found. When police arrived they found the 36-year-old victim with a gunshot wound.

She was taken to Peterson Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased just before 5 a.m.

Police say there is no threat to the public related to this case. More information will be released after the victim’s family is notified.
