SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a serious accident that left a woman critically injured Saturday evening.
Authorities responded to the 7900 block of Military Drive around 5:45 p.m., after reports of a woman appearing unconscious in an apartment complex parking lot. When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old woman with tire marks on her lower back.
The woman was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. It is not yet clear how the injuries occurred. Police did not provide a description of the suspect or any vehicle information.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and details are preliminary.
