SAN ANTONIO — A woman was hit and killed after running into the road on the northwest side Monday afternoon, according to San Antonio Police.
Emergency responders were called to the 8500 block of Huebner Road around 3:15 p.m.
Police say an eyewitness informed them that a female passenger in a vehicle jumped out and ran into the road. The woman was then stuck by a red jeep.
The passenger was identified as a 50-year-old woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the red jeep remained on the scene. No charges are expected, according to SAPD.
