SAN ANTONIO – A woman was rushed to the hospital after an argument at a South Side apartment complex turned into a shooting, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Pleasanton Road, near E. Gerald and Rosebud Lane.
Police said a witness heard the woman arguing with a man. About a minute later, the witness told officers they heard the man fire three gunshots.
The man took off from the scene in a vehicle before police arrived.
Officers found the woman, who was shot in the back, and she was taken by EMS to an area hospital. Her condition is unknown.
