Woman in custody after cutting ex-boyfriend with knife when he came to drop off child, SAPD says

Police say the man who was cut is being uncooperative and does not want to press charges, but his ex-girlfriend is now in SAPD’s custody.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department has a woman in custody after she allegedly cut her ex-boyfriend with a knife on the northwest side.

Around 5 p.m., SAPD responded to the 4100 block of Datapoint and Wurzbach Road after receiving reports of a cutting in progress.

Police said the cutting occurred when a man came to drop off a child to his ex-girlfriend. When he arrived, they began to argue before she allegedly pulled out a knife.

The man told police she did not stab him, but was able to cut his “back side.” His injuries were non-life threatening and he refused help from EMS.

Police say the man was being uncooperative and did not want to press charges, but his ex-girlfriend is now in SAPD’s custody.

This is an ongoing investigation.
