Woman injured after crashing into utility pole in west San Antonio, police say

Investigators said the 33-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing on the intersection of West Commerce Street and Callaghan Road.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said a woman was hospitalized early Friday morning after suffering injuries in a crash on the city’s west side.

According to SAPD, a 33-year-old woman crashed into a utility pole on the intersection of West Commerce Street and Callaghan Road just after 1 a.m.

The woman was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries, officials said. At last check, she was in stable condition.

No other vehicles were involved and investigators said there appeared to be no signs of intoxication.
