Police say the woman had been staying at Haven for Hope.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman is dead after being struck by a train just west of downtown late Sunday night, police say.
It happened around 11:18 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Martin near Iinterstate-10.
Police say the woman was homeless and had recently been staying at Haven for Hope.
She was pronounced dead on the way to BAMC. Her identity has not yet been released.
