
San Antonio police said the woman was crossing the street with a small child. She was reportedly not utilizing the crosswalk when crossing.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman is dead after San Antonio police said she was hit by a car while crossing the street on the city’s southeast side Thursday night.
Police said at around 10:30 p.m., a woman was struck by a Dodge Caliber on the 2300 block of SE Military Drive. Officers said she was crossing the street with a small child. The child was not harmed.
The driver stopped to render aid and the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition where she was later pronounced dead, officials said.
According to police, she was not utilizing the crosswalk when crossing the street. Officials said the child was picked up by family.
