SAN ANTONIO — A 29-year-old woman was found dead late Saturday night near the IH-37 NB rest area, per Sheriff Oscar Rivera out of San Patricio County.

A wheelchair-bound man who smelled smoke was able to escape from a fire that destroyed his home early Monday morning, officials say.
