A woman was hospitalized after being run over by a reversing truck in a restaurant parking lot north of downtown.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman is in the hospital after getting run over by a truck in a parking lot north of downtown Friday, police said.
It happened outside of a restaurant at La Manda and West Avenue around 11:40 a.m.
Police said a woman walking through the parking lot was run over by truck that was backing up at the time. Officers at the scene said the tires of the truck “went over her legs.”
She was taken to University Hospital in unknown conditions, though police said she was alert and breathing at the scene.
The driver did stay and assist at the scene. Police said the driver will not likely face charges.
