Someone involved in the fight pulled out a gun and tried to shoot a security guard, but missed and hit the woman in the leg.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman was shot in the leg during a fight at a bar just east of downtown early Sunday morning.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. in the 500 block of Live Oak Street near Nolan Street.
Police say a fight broke out at the bar and security tried to break it up. Someone pulled out a weapon and tried to shoot the security guard, missing and hitting the woman in the leg.
She was taken to the hospital with a non life-threatening wound.
No description was provided of the shooter.
No word on if anyone was arrested or is facing charges.
