SAN ANTONIO — Police responded to a reported stabbing early Sunday morning and found a woman with a stab wound to her stomach.
SAPD were dispatched to the 1700 block of West Mayfield Boulevard around 1:41 a.m. for reports of a cutting in progress.
According to police reports, the incident began as a verbal altercation between the victim and a 34-year-old man. The disagreement reportedly escalated when the suspect tried to leave the location in the victim’s vehicle to complete a purchase, and the victim refused. The confrontation turned physical, and the woman was stabbed.
