The driver of the pickup truck that hit her stopped and rendered aid telling police they did not see her in the road before they crashed into her.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman was killed late Saturday night after being struck by a driver while she was apparently walking in the main lanes of Loop 410, police say.
It happened on the west side of town near Military Drive in the 7500 block of NW Loop 410.
Police say victim was walking from east to west on the main lanes of the highway where pedestrians are prohibited from walking.
The driver of the pickup truck that hit her stopped and rendered aid and told police they did not see her in the road before they crashed into her.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver is not facing any charges.
