SAN ANTONIO — A woman is recovering after being shot during an early-morning drive-by on the southeast-side, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. in the 3900 block of East Southcross Blvd. Police say the woman was walking home from her parents’ house when a dark-colored vehicle drove past and someone inside opened fire, striking her in the hip.
Investigators say the victim managed to walk back to her apartment complex, where her boyfriend brought her inside and called for help.
The woman was taken to BAMC in stable condition, officials said.
Detectives are now working to determine who fired the shot and what led up to the attack.
No arrests have been reported.
