IShowSpeed visits Dallas as part of his 35-day IRL streaming tour.
DALLAS — World-famous streamer IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., made a stop in Dallas on Monday as part of his 35-day in-real-life (irl) stream in America tour.
He started the tour in Miami and has made stops in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston and more.
IShowSpeed has gained worldwide popularity for his streams on Twitch and YouTube over the past few years. In 2022, he began to shift the focus of his content towards soccer, mainly his avid fandom of Cristiano Ronaldo. IShowSpeed was invited as a celebrity guest to the 2025 MLS All-Star game in Austin.
His YouTube channel has 44.1 million subscribers and he has over 2 million subscribers on Twitch.
After stepping off his bus, he was met by a group of fans clamoring for autographs and photos with him. One man even tried to sell him his French bulldog puppies. After about five minutes of signing autographs, he walked over to Shug’s Bagels off U.S. 75 and Mockingbird Lane.
While at Shug’s, Speed and his team had breakfast while chatting with some SMU students at the table with them and signed more autographs. Then, they got into a car and drove through SMU’s campus. While walking through campus, Speed met an SMU student whose real name was also Speed.
Speed took a tour of a couple fraternity houses at SMU, stopping at one to play a game of Fortnite.
Speed made his second stop at Dude Perfect’s new headquarters in Frisco. Speed and Tyler from Dude Perfect competed against each other in a “sports gauntlet,” where each of them had to complete varied tasks from different sports for time. Tyler completed the gauntlet in one minute, 19 seconds.
Speed, ironically enough, got stuck on the soccer portion of the gauntlet and lost.
Next, Speed and Tyler faced off in a three-point contest. Tyler beat Speed in the three-point contest, as well. They changed the spot and went competed again. Speed made five out of 12 NBA threes from the top of the key. Tyler made six of the 12 to win again.
After losing twice, Speed challenged Tyler to a race. Speed smoked Tyler in the race across the basketball court.
After doing their competitions, Dude Perfect treated speed to Hutchins BBQ, specifically the infamous Texas Twinkie.
Then, Speed swung by Stonebriar Centre in Frisco and rode The Carousel near the food court. Shoppers at the mall immediately noticed him, asking for autographs and pictures again. Speed and his team stopped inside an apparel and sneaker store, where he was fitted for a custom-made hat.
After a brief stop at the mall, they went back to their RV and traveled to The Stockyards in Fort Worth.

At The Stockyards, Speed stood on top of a longhorn named Remington. Then he raced a horse inside of the Cowtown Coliseum. To his credit, Speed was a closer to beating the horse than you would think. They raced a second time, but this time Speed took his shoes off. In the second race, he lost again but it was closer.
After racing the horse, Speed stopped into a western wear store and bought a pair of jeans, a belt buckle and a cowboy hat.
Speed and his crew stopped at Whataburger for dinner, where they ordered 20 double cheeseburger meals and a Patty Melt meal. He drenched the Patty Melt with spicy ketchup and mayo (a questionable decision) but hey, he liked it!
Speed made a trip to Weatherford to ride a bull. Yes, he rode a bull. But not for long. He lasted maybe a second before falling off. After this cowboys adventure, Speed and his team headed back to downtown Dallas. They made a few stops at bars in and around Deep Ellum.
At one point, Speed climbed on top of his rental car to show off the size of the crowd gathered around him and to pull off a “sui” move. The stunt drew the attention of Dallas police, who stopped Speed and his team as they tried to leave. Officers warned that his actions could lead to a rioting charge if the situation continued.
The incident threatened to derail part of Speed’s stream plans, including his idea to stop and showcase the Dallas skyline. But he eventually managed to get the shot he wanted.
Supporters lingered in the area, revving engines, doing donuts, and cheering whenever Speed would appear. Police ultimately left without taking further action.
Eventually, Speed and his crew left and hung out in a hotel room for a while. For the rest of the night, Speed played video games in his RV.
After going to sleep, the RV got on the road to Austin, which is the next stop on his tour.
