
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Saturday morning shooting led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man.
Around 12:45 a.m., officers responded to Yorktown Blvd, where a 21-year-old victim was found with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim said he was shot after being confronted and robbed in the parking lot.
Witnesses helped Corpus Christi Police locate the suspect’s vehicle near Samba Drive.
The suspect was arrested after attempting to flee.
A firearm was recovered, and the suspect faces charges of aggravated robbery, deadly conduct, and evading arrest.
