Police say a young man was shot and killed Sunday morning in the 1600 block of Rigsby Avenue.
SAN ANTONIO — A young man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in an area police say has been a repeated gathering spot on the city’s east side.
San Antonio police were called to the 1600 block of Rigsby Avenue around 7 a.m. for a reported shooting in progress.
An SAPD sergeant confirmed one young male was found shot at the scene and was pronounced dead.
Details surrounding what led up to the shooting have not been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
