SAN ANTONIO — SAN ANTONIO, Texas—A man is being charged with threatening and then exposing himself to a ride-share driver.

The victim is a female Lyft driver, who we are choosing not to name in this story.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim accepted a ride around 10:30 p.m. on February 11 to pick up Amarpreet Singh Sidhu, 35, from the Tipsy Cowgirl bar near North Star Mall.

When she got to the pick-up location, a security guard told the driver that Sidhu was intoxicated, but “she should be ‘OK’,” according to the arrest warrant.

A few minutes into the ride, investigators said Sidhu complained about the music the driver was playing, and then began playing his own music very loud on his cellphone.

That’s when the ride turned into a nightmare.

According to the arrest warrant, Sidhu then started to freestyle rap, and sang about sexually assaulting his mother and sister.

When the victim made eye-contact with Sidhu in the rearview mirror, Sidhu told her, “you’re my next victim,” detectives wrote in police documents.

Shortly after, police said Sidhu tried to add another drop-off location on the Lyft app, and then started stroking the driver’s cheek with his finger.

Detectives said in police documents that the driver told Sidhu she was dropping him off at a nearby gas station, and Sidhu replied, “she would do whatever he wants.”

According to the arrest warrant, Sidhu refused to get out of the car, and then punched the door of the car before finally getting out.

That’s when police said Sidhu walked to the front of the victim’s car and exposed himself.

Investigators said the driver pulled over a few minutes later, and “observed urine on the floorboard of her back seat,” according to police documents.

The victim was able to record Sidhu walking away on her cellphone, and then later identified Sidhu as the man who threatened her and then exposed himself.

Sidhu was arrested last week, his bond set at $5,000, according to online court records.

He posted bond the same day and was released from jail.

Sidhu is also being charged with a second Indecent Exposure charge in connection with an incident that happened two weeks later, according to online court records.  We are working to find out more information about the second incident.
