SAN ANTONIO — Country music fans in San Antonio can get ready to crack open a cold one and sing along this fall.
Grammy-winning artist Zach Top has announced a San Antonio stop on his expanded “Cold Beer & Country Music Tour,” bringing his traditional country sound to the Frost Bank Center on Sept. 26.
The newly added date is part of a major fall extension of Top’s nationwide tour, which includes performances at some of the country’s biggest arenas.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 12 at 10 a.m., with presale registration already available through the singer’s website.
The tour caps off a banner year for Top, who won Best Traditional Country Album at the 68th Grammy Awards for Ain’t In It For My Health. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Current Country Albums chart and generated more than 30 million streams during its first week.
Top has quickly become one of country music’s fastest-rising stars, earning CMA New Artist of the Year honors, his first No. 1 country radio hit with “I Never Lie,” and praise from critics who have dubbed him one of the genre’s most promising new voices.
Before heading to San Antonio, Top is scheduled to perform at CMA Fest and join select stadium shows with fellow country star Chris Stapleton.
Raised on a family farm in Washington state and steeped in classic country traditions, Top has built a devoted fan base with his throwback sound and modern storytelling.
Now, he’ll bring both to the Alamo City this September.
