SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a known sex offender who failed to meet annual registration requirements.
Authorities said Darrell Tremeyne Smith has failed to comply with his yearly registration requirements, which means checking in and registering for the remainder of his life as a result of a sexual assault charge back in 2003.
According to BCSO, Smith’s last known address was on the 15200 block of Selene View in San Antonio. Authorities have tried to contact him at the west-side residence but have been unsuccessful.
