Crime Stoppers offers up to $5K reward in fatal shooting of 19-year-old on San Antonio’s northeast side

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 8:14 p.m. Friday to the 3900 block of Thousand Oaks Drive for a shooting in progress. Upon arrival, police found 19-year-old Elijah Bernal in the parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police said a black vehicle was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting.
