Crime Stoppers seeks identity of woman accused of assault during alleged robbery at west-side store

Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a woman accused of stealing from a store and assaulting an employee.

SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman accused of robbing a west-side Dollar Tree and assaulting an employee.

According to Crime Stoppers, the incident happened around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at the Dollar Tree located on the 8200 block of Marbach Road.

Officials said an unknown woman entered the store and was seen placing merchandise into a black bag. A store employee confronted the suspect near the front entrance and asked her to remove the unpaid items.

Authorities said the woman refused and punched the employee in the face, causing minor injuries. She then left the store and drove away in a white Hyundai sedan, according to Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers of San Antonio may offer an up to $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
