Fire crews extract person from trapped vehicle after crash on I-10

Police said only minor injuries were reported at the scene.

SAN ANTONIO — Fire crews had to help extract a person from a trapped vehicle after a crash on I-10 Wednesday night.

San Antonio Police say a vehicle was stalled in a lane on I-10 just past Vance Jackson Road – which police blocked off for protection.

The driver later switched lanes and was rear-ended by a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was unable to get out of the car so fire crews were called to help, authorities say.

Police said only minor injuries were reported at the scene.

No other information was provided.
