Hunting for your next Fiesta medal? Bexar County firefighters are hiding them at local businesses

Pictures they posted show them hiding the medals in nearby trees, phone booths, and cart areas.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — Looking for your next Fiesta medal? Some Bexar County firefighters are your new supplier.

The Bexar County 2 Fire Department posted on Facebook about placing Fiesta medals across the area, hoping to be taken home by an avid collector.

On Wednesday, fire crews strategically placed several medals hidden in plain sight at the H-E-B’s on Culebra Road and on Potranco Road. They hid 15 medals at the Culebra location and 20 at the Potranco location. Pictures show them hiding the medals in nearby trees, phone booths, and cart areas. The crews ask that only one medal per family be taken and to post and tag them on social media.

The fire department previously left Fiesta medals near Santikos movie theaters, Starbucks, Costco and Olive Garden.
