The two-day celebration will be held from Thursday, Apr. 25 to Friday, Apr. 26, amidst all the fiesta fun.

The lineup for Thursday, Apr. 25 will feature some big names such as Texas icons the Toadies, San Antonio’s own Girl in a Coma, and Grupo METÁL Featuring Chris Perez.

The lineup for Friday Apr. 26 features special performances by Legs Diamond and Joey King Carrasco. Other acts on the lineup include Grammy award-winning Ozomatli, Inner Wave, The Red Pears, Heartless Bastards, and many more.

More acts are expected to be announced soon.

“Building on the legacy appreciated by past generations of La Semana, our aim is to provide music lovers with quality entertainment and cherished memories,” Andujar adds.

According to the event website, La Semana Alegre will benefit Hemisfair, supporting its mission to revitalize the site of HemisFair ’68 and create a vibrant, walkable urban district for the people of San Antonio.
