Reason: Multiple of days of possible storms and heavy rain.
The main line of storms that hit Tuesday night into Wednesday morning has moved south of the area, but light to moderate rain and a few isolated storms continue behind it. This activity should end between 6 and 7 a.m. Wednesday based on current trends.
The National Weather Service says there’s a Level 2 risk for severe thunderstorms mainly hitting Wednesday evening into the overnight hours. Rain totals of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected through Thursday morning, with isolated areas seeing 2 to 5 inches, potentially creating a localized flooding threat. The heaviest rainfall is expected west of San Antonio.
